Forgotten Town is one of my first video projects - a collaboration with my musician friend Pierre to create a music video for his original song Forgotten Town (later made available on his debut album LABUM). The song explores themes of romance through the lens of melancholia and non-reciprocity.
The use of shadow play, different colours to symbolise emotional and physical states, and the pacing of the edit to match character evolution were aimed to illustrate the path from romance to disillusion in a metaphorical, universal fashion.
This project was made in parallel to the first year of my Bachelor of Arts in Film, TV and Screen Media with a group of my classmates.
