After getting invited to a mysterious dinner party, Sue Peter is led to understand the saying "you are what you eat" in a series of unfortunate events.
Soupy Sue explores the tropes of classic horror to parody and comment them, with a specific emphasis of the treatment of female protagonist and male gaze in the genre, while playing around with body horror and techniques of advertisement.
