Between the lines

After graduating a literature preparatory (CPGE) program at Sainte Marie de Neuilly, I started including critical thinking and essay writing as much as I could in my creative work. With this course essentially consisting in essay writing, critique and analysis of philosophical texts, historical documents and artworks, I acquired a solid academic skillset and writing style that later served me in my film studies.

The following collection presents a selection of film essays, relating to form, script, politics and many other factors that affect the art, how it is intended to be received, and how it may transform its audience.
